I just went to Google to see if the Segway News weblog had moved up in a search for segway and noticed something new in the search results. While the Segway Weblog is still sitting at #3, Google has added a "Fresh!" label with the date the page was indexed. (The previous way of looking at the "freshness" of a page was clicking the Cached link and trying to find some clues on the page when it was updated/indexed).
W3C's new group: Technical Architecture Group: "To improve the effectiveness of Working Groups, to reduce misunderstandings and overlapping work, and to improve the consistency of Web technologies developed inside and outside W3C, this charter establishes the Technical Architecture Group for the W3C."
6:50:46 PM Google has announced that their 20 years of Usenet archives is up. They've posted a timeline with some memorable posts. Here's the first Usenet article in Google's archive.
