You're my JPEG Baby.

I've been doing a bit of research lately and am more convinced than ever that the Dutch and Belgian television markets are mature an competitive enough for a helicopter news service. Since I've been training for my PPL on a Robinson R44, this machine's low operating cost and efficiency has had a lot of my attention. I think it's perfect for the mission. Robinson sells a fully configured News Helicopter for $200 more than the standard R44. Needless to say I was dissapointed after an afternoon of searching Google, Teoma and Ask that there appear to be no alternatives to the usual suspects when it comes to stabilized cameras and mounts. Surely there is someone who's thought up an alternative that doesn't start at $100k.
  • Here's what the minimum requirements are:
    • Mount for a prosumer DV camcorder
    • pan, tilt and zoom controls via [wired] remote
    • Weather-proof housing
    • Must be firm on the heli-skid up to 130+ knots.

Marijuana.com: "The latest news from the mecca of marijuana users is a real mindblower. Under a new ban on smoking in public places, Dutch coffee shops would be allowed to continue selling joints, but customers would have to go outside to smoke them. "

This should be translated into every language on the planet. I will start with Dutch: What makes a weblog a weblog?
