I have witnessed magic. Thanks to all who have pinged my trackback links. This is so awesome, it's like comments on steroids. I still have a link under each posting which contains comments only they come from other weblog postings, leaving a direct trail to the author and his/her online identity, which in turn leads to more thoughts, links, ideas etc. I'm so excited about this I don't even care how it works technically, it just delivers joy.
Now the comments panel can be used as a 'time delayed' chat about the posting amongst readers, which is pretty much how my readers use them, and trackback will be my spot to look for posts, views and feedback from other blogs. It sure beats trawling the referrer log. Now that Radio supports trackback, I hope more blogs will implement it. It's groovy.
Now I want new trackbacks emailed to me.
