I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge this afternoon. I noticed a CHiPs car sitting on the side of the road at the north end of the bridge, which is fairly common. I also saw the big white trucks they use to push disabled vehicles out of the way. As we drove through the toll gate I saw a couple of TV news vans with their microwave antennae jutting up. I thought to myself, they're doing a story about the terrorist threat to the bridge. When I got home I saw that it was true.   8:27:07 PM  Link
