Andrew emailed me about the problem of Expat not being shipped with Python2.2 on MacOS 10.2. With Python on Jaguar, you cannot use minidom, you would get a "SAXReaderNotAvailable" error. I solved this by installing Python2.3. Andrew made a module, XMLFilter, that "provides an xml.sax-compatible XML parser even when the installed version of Python lacks a working copy of xml.sax", so it allows your scripts to work with Python bundled with Jaguar.
