At first, there was mbox, then there was Maildir, and Bill begat Outlook and .mbx. CaraCalla wonders if there is a better way to store mail than the way we currently store it today. I admit, with the changes that email has undergone over the past 5 years (changes in what is being sent, not necessarily in how it is sent), it may be time to reinvent the mail format. Handspring Counts on Duo of Treos
In a move analysts say will determine the company's survival, Handspring releases two new handheld devices. J'en veux toujours un, mais après avoir eu l'occasion de me remettre à grafitter sur un Visor dans les dernières semaines, je ne suis plus certain de vouloir le modèle à clavier au lieu de la zone pour écrire au stylus... je vais bien finir par cracher le 800$ et m'en acheter un... Avec un playstation 2 ce sont les seuls gadgets prévus pour les prochains mois.

Il s'organise un Mozilla Launch Party à Montréal. J'y serais et ça risque d'être intéressant comme crowd, la gang de Linux-Québec devrait y participer ansi que plusieurs autres geeks locaux... on projette aussi d'y discuter d'un réseau sans-fil communautaire pour Montréal. #
