Open Spectrum
This web exists to link all of the online resources I want to share that relate to Open Spectrum ideas. I am particularly interested in this intersection of architecture, information theory, technology, economics, and policy. #

Mnet: universal file space
A universal file space is a single, global virtual space into which you can put, and from which you can get, files. It comes with a single global namespace so that there is no conflict over file names. Mnet is also an emergent network. An emergent network is one in which the important features of the network result from the interactions of nodes operated by autonomous people or organizations who do not explicitly coordinate with one another. There are many interesting applications that can be built on top of an emergent network and a universal file space. The first application that has been written for the Mnet project is a file-sharing application which lets you search for and download files of all kinds from the universal file space... #

An Overview of MSXML 4.0
In this article we will look at the latest XML parser from Microsoft, MSXML 4.0. Microsoft has taken a lot of criticism in the past over its adoption of non-standard schema and XSL drafts, which happened most often in early parser releases and even version 3.0 to a lesser extent. However, MSXML 4.0 is a strong attempt by Microsoft to adopt W3C standards. You can now find standard DOM, XPath, Schema, and XSLT implementations in the new parser. There is even full support for SAX 2.0, as well as many other objects that improve both your productivity, when working with XML on both the client and server, and the scalability of server-based XML applications. Un bon tour d'horizon, MSXML 4 est un morceau de technologie critique pour les développeurs qui utilisent Windows au niveau du serveur autant que du client. #
