Open Source Helix by RealNetworks will play all media files, even Windows
The company that brings us the Real Player, announced today that it is launching Helix, an open standard for multimedia application development and deployment. The Helix platform brings with it standardized APIs that will allow playback of most multimedia formats, including .wmf (Windows Media Player), .mov (Quicktime), and .rm (Real).

This morning popped over to SpellCheck.net which made me think about Dictionary.com who sells word lookup services to Yahoo Games , for use in Literati. Which made me think... Is there a significant market for net based remote services like that? Je pense que oui, un immense marché selon moi, mais au développement sur plusieurs années...
