Internet-based PSK31. Ham radio operators will love this:
http://hamradio-portal.com/psk/ It is an Internet web server connected to a receiver turned to 14.070 Mhz. The software presents a spectrum display of current PSK31 digital communication frequencies on that frequency. I think it will decode them to, although I could not get that to work on my computer this morning. For those who are not ham radio operators, PSK31 is a very narrow band (< 100 hertz) data communication scheme that uses phase shift modulation to send typewritten text messages back and forth at typing speeds. PSK31 sends signals even through difficult radio conditions. Receivers can often successfully decode signals that are nearly inaudible to the human ear. PSK31 is ideal for use on HF radio frequencies. An ordinary receiver passband sometimes receives a dozen or more frequencies, each of which can be separately tuned and decoded simultaneously using a variety of free software programs. (Tnx to N7FSP for the link). [
