Milwaukee!
The
Stephen Kinzer, of the New York Times, on What's Doing in Milwaukee. Kinzer includes a reference to the Milwaukee Art Museum: "the crown jewel on Milwaukee's lakefront, is so stunning that some critics have suggested the art inside can hardly measure up."

I believe Santiago Calatrava's pavilion was a far better Milwaukee investment than the Brewer's Miller Park.

Speaking of the Brewers, I wonder if the new management regime has changed any methods? I recently read moneyball, Michael Lewis's excellent book on bringing baseball into the 20th century. Dave Winer correctly states that the book's central premise is that baseball insiders are idiots. The Brewers, Tigers, Rangers and Mets, among others, don't come off too well in Lewis's book.

To reinforce this line of thinking, the blog blissful knowledge suggests to Mets fans that the most productive thing they can do for their team is to buy a copy and send it to upper management.

BTW, the Milwaukee Art Museum currently features a Brooks Stevens Exhibition. (Brook Stevens was a famous Industrial Designer)

BTW2: Virtual Properties has a photo essay of Milwaukee's annual circus parade.
