Congrats to the Republicans. Now they control everything. What a war we're going to have, and the Supreme Court is going to get packed. Let's hope there's something left to vote out of office in 2004. [Scripting News]

Well, Dave, I'm not quite as cynical, but I'm disappointed that we Democrats couldn't get out the vote in this election. I honestly don't know why we lack strong leadership and a unified national platform. Maybe we're just too busy being anti-Republican instead of pro-Issues.

This reminds me of the old Apple versus Microsoft wars. Now, I'm not saying that Democrats are marginalized with 5% of the electorate share (we'd be Independents then) but as a Mac user, I'm accustomed to being a part of a smarter minority.

Let's hope that the Democratic leadership gets its act together soon.
