I solved my Return to Castle Wolfenstein dedicated server problem. Before, I couldn't get the game server to run on my iMac server. Apple isn't supporting OpenGL on early model iMacs and so I was kinda stuck. I changed the equation a little and moved my server from and iMac to a G4. It's faster and more expandable, and really is a better server solution. I put a spare Apple / Adaptec 2940U2b LVD scsi card and 36gig drive into the box for growth, and moved the system disk from the iMac over for a no-hastle system swap. It's great having a hardware independent OS for such things. I saw a friends new Dell 1.9 ghz / 17" LCD system today. It's nice, but.... I could think of a better way to spend the $2400. 10:57:13 PM
