Rio Riot and Lyra Personal Jukebox [Slashdot] The poster (wrongly) offers the new Rio as an iPod killer, and in a pleasant surprise he's pretty much shot down. So anti-Apple zealotry isn't blindly accepted among the Slashdot crowd like anti-Microsoft zealotry is - yet. I am an iPod owner, and I think it's a great little mp3 device. Now if I could also keep phone numbers and addresses in it...

Guilty(?) Pleasure: the remake of "the Mummy". Yeah it's silly, but it's silly in exactly the same way the classic monster movies were. And I'm a sucker for all things "Ancient Egypt". I haven't seen "The Mummy Returns", yet.
