Concerning the title of this weblog: I'm for clones. Really. I mean it's the 21st century already - let's get on with it! I like drones. No, not the male bee, nor the type in suits. I like this kind of drone.

I'm looking for a cool little side project to dive into Cocoa with. One idea is an RSS feed reader (Radio has me interested in RSS), another is a WYSIWYG editor that can save in the XML FO format. The latter would be useful at work...

Sigh. I feel a case of upgrade fever coming on. I bought the machine I'm using now, a Pismo PowerBook, a little over a year ago. My problem is that I really should just have a desktop. I'm using the Powerbook clamshell closed, external monitor, USB keyboard and mouse. I guess I'm just not a laptop kind of guy. I'll wait and see what new desktops Apple has up its sleeve this year. In a related note, the keyboard and mouse are Microsoft's. I don't know who to thank - Apple, Microsoft, USB, or all - but they just work. No driver installation. Plug and Play instead of Plug and Pray.

So Louisville (KY) won't be getting an NBA team. Good. Some of the city leaders wish they were leaders of a big city. I moved to Louisville from Seattle because it isn't a big city.
