lots of people don't know of rss, or haven't really tried using it. rss is a powerful mixture of the push/pull mechanism for getting content. traditionally you would check lots of websites each day for new content, some sites multiple times a day. such a waste of time.
with a rss news reader like syndirella (windows) or netnewswire(mac), these websites are checked each hour or whatever you specify, and any new content is downloaded, you are notified .. it's just like checking your email.
so where is the catch? content, content, content!
there are plenty of useful rss feeds, however most of them are somewhat hard to find, look for an rss link or a orange image with rss or xml on it.
Here is a few links for finding rss feeds:
My subscriptions
asdf.dk - list of danish feeds
newsisfree.com
syndic8.com
myrss.com - create your own rss feeds for ANY site
so grab a news reader from the above urls, and subscribe to the rss feeds you like!
