Wireless World How wireless technology and NetRiver are making The Davenport Hotel a hub for downtown broadband. This is a pretty exciting development for Spokane technology-wise. I'm really pleased to hear that the Davenport will not only offer free wireless, but ethernet jacks for guests in every room as well. Hopefully the wireless network will continue to expand across downtown as more businesses hop on board. 1:26:51 PM

Conference Presentation Judo [via Aaron Swartz] contains some useful and entertaining information if you're going to be doing a presentation at some point. I can't say I've really done any significant presentations lately (or perhaps ever), but being able to give good presentations is a skill that I would love to have. I especially like the fact that this presentation was done with web-based slides rather than PowerPoint. I bet TinderBox would work pretty well for creating presentations of this nature given the right templates. 9:30:48 AM
