Well, thank goodness for Doc, as I would have missed that completely. Major coolness points for David Letterman, as he insisted that he begged Warren to do "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner", which I've never even heard on commercial radio.
I'm gonna miss you, Warren, and I've never even met ya.

Brian Linsereminds us that his pal Warren Zevon will be on Letterman tonight. As you may know, Warren has inoperable lung cancer. The whole show is dedicated to him.
