Heavy Weather?
For the next hour, San Jose will probably experience some of the ugliest (or prettiest, depending on your outlook) weather of the year. Doppler radar shows a line of thundershowers starting to move through. What was a well defined squall line over the ocean has broken up some as it crossed the Santa Cruz Mountains.
We just had a lightning strike within a mile of downtown. The rain is heavy but not severe. Planes are still taking off from San Jose. We might get some hail. That is about the most you can expect from a storm in San Jose.
Yep, five minutes and its gone. Oh well.
