The Google Box
The Google Box is a new feature of Fluid Flow. It provides a list of the top 10 results for a given Google search. The Google Box is made possible by interactions between Radio UserLand and the Google SOAP API beta that was released earlier today.
I finally got a moment to install a Google box on Fluid Flow this evening. You can see the results beneath the navigation bar to the right. [4/16/02 I removed the google box because it doesn't really provide useful information.]
Since Fluid flow covers several different topics, I wrote a wrapper for the google macro that pulls the topic from the siteName variable. For some of my catagory names I do a little extra cleaning (no reason to search for "Frontier and Radio"). Anyway the box is there and its different for each of my catagory pages. Enjoy.
