Fluid Flow: Frontier and Radio
Most of my work is in Frontier and Radio. This is a log of what I am working on, problems I am having, and solutions I've found.

This is nothing new, but I want a better connection between Radio and Manila. Mirroring with the Manila-Blogger bridge doesn't cut it. I run multiple Manila websites. I want to direct weblog posts to different Manila sites. Categories seem to be the way to go here. Each category could direct its post to a different Manila site

But that doesn't appear to be the connection that UserLand wants to develop. All of the tools that they are developing appear to focus on a connection between Radio and a single Manila site. For example, UserLand maps categories to departments on a Manila news item site.

With the development of an aggregator within Manila, it may be possible to route around this. It should be possible to create a Manila home page that uses the viewAggregator macro to connect to a specific Radio RSS feed. This approach, however, can run into problems like those I described yesterday where UserLand code adds extraneous information that you may not want to show.

I haven't found a solution that I like yet, but I'm still digging.
