San Jose is blessed with many vibrant neighborhoods. I try to keep up with neighborhood events throughout the city, but my focus is on downtown/central San Jose.

Glenn: "San Jose, We Have a Problem."  [Scripting News]

This ongoing discussion in the online world focuses on the recent changes to the San Jose Mercury News' website. As a result of the changes many links to previous articles and discussions were broken.

As regular subscriber to the hard copy edition, I infrequently visit the website. In my opinion, the Mercury News website is, at best, a difficult place to find yesterday's news. So while the discussion is interesting, it is not a major concern for me.

I am far more concerned with the declining quality of the writing, questionable editorial stances, and poor coverage of neighborhood issues.
