Fluid Flow: Neighborhood News
San Jose is blessed with many vibrant neighborhoods. I try to keep up with neighborhood events throughout the city, but my focus is on downtown/central San Jose.

Now that the summer weather is finally here, it is a great time to be in the yard, and compost those clippings to feed your garden all year long.

A compost bin is also a great gift for dad - we won't tell him you got it at a discount!

There will be a free composting class and bins sale on Saturday June 14th from 10-1pm at Moreland Community Center (1850 Fallbrook Ave at Campbell - near Westgate)

If you want to register for the free class from 10-12, please call the Master Composters at 918-4640 to sign up. Call now while there are still spaces in this valuable class.

Anyone can come to the free classes, and subsidized bin prices are available for San Jose residents, City of San Jose employees, and San Jose teachers.

Please pass this message to any gardeners you know who may want to start composting, or get a great gift for dad.

Thanks Michele and the worms
