Coyote Creek winds its way through San Jose about 17 blocks from downtown. While it is the most natural setting around, it is still in the middle of city with nearly a million people. So when a wild turkey showed up in a neighbor's back yard, it boggled a few minds.

History Makers: Yes, I Can: Remembering San José's Canneries

Hill Road.
HSJ president and CEO David Crosson will moderate a panel discussion on the history and significance of the canning and fruit processing industry in San José. Panelists include Martin Marshall, Jim Zetterquist, Christine Francisco and Joe Melehan all who held various positions within the industry at companies as diverse as Richmond-Chase and Mayfair Packing. After an hour discussion with Crosson, the audience will be invited to ask questions directly of the panelists. FREE.
