San Jose is blessed with many vibrant neighborhoods. I try to keep up with neighborhood events throughout the city, but my focus is on downtown/central San Jose.

Free St. Patrick's Day Concert with the Choraliers

Come celebrate St. Patty's Day with music, drink, "Irish" chowder, and the famous SJSU Choraliers. The concert is free and begins at 7:00pm. However, the pre-concert activities begin at 5:30PM and include Green Beer, Wine and Hawg's "New"hattan Chowder. ($10. donation covers the chowder and suds). Please call or email if you plan on attending the pre-concert fun.

It's that time of year again, when the Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County along with the Prusch Farm Park Foundation, the City of San Jose, and the U. C. Cooperative Extension, co-host the Spring Garden Market. You simply won't find most of these plants in nurseries, and in addition to plants and merchandise, gardening advice is abundant and free! As always, the market is held rain or shine.
