Kids - join the Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens for a wet adventure into the exploration of water! Get involved in several hands-on activities including: making green cleaning kits, river water testing and creating pollution soup! The workshops will be held on three consecutive Thursdays, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, each with a different theme relating to the watershed. Sign up for one or all of the following days:
April 29th - From Dinosaur Pee to Your Kitchen Sink - Where does our Water come from?
May 6th - Pesticides, Erosion & Trash ~ Oh, My! - Water Pollution and Prevention
May 13th - There's a River in San Jose? - Exploration of the Guadalupe River
The cost to attend the workshop is $5.00 per child per class and is for children between the ages of 7 and 10.
