San Jose is blessed with many vibrant neighborhoods. I try to keep up with neighborhood events throughout the city, but my focus is on downtown/central San Jose.

On Saturday, Michele, Syrah, and I went to the groundbreaking ceremony for O'Donnel's Garden Park at 6th and William Sts. in San Jose. This Park has long been a dream of the South University Neighborhood and the University Neighborhoods Coalition (UNC). As president of the UNC, I am incredibly pleased that we helped realize this dream.

Hats off to the many volunteers and City staff who made this happen. And special thanks to Lisa and Sue for shepherding this project.
