working most of the day to edit and publish the Wood family's tape. next concerns are the Sony 707, the Siggraph 2002 submission (Roman Verostko called: he won't submit), Hope's scanner driver, DAM's website and setting up our new flat files.
"The Art Gallery is accepting submissions that provide both the final artwork and depict the conceptual, creative, and/or technical processes involved in creating the work. See: Examples of Process.
-All formats of work that include a computer or electronic component in the process of creation or in the physical and/or virtual artwork will be considered.
-All submitted works must show both process and product.
-Each piece must include a publishable artist's statement of no more than 400 words.
-Each piece should include a publishable explanation (400 words maximum) of how the computer was involved in the piece.
-Animations must be submitted to the Computer Animation Festival so that all animations submitted to SIGGRAPH 2002 are eligible for the Electronic Theater. Selected fine art animations will be shown both in the Animation Screening Rooms and the Art Gallery, so these pieces can be available to a wider audience.
-Artists panels should be submitted to SIGGRAPH 2002 Panels (deadline: 16 January 2002)."
