the macosx screen saver slide show has excellent features. i'd like to call it as a regular app and to record these slide shows on dvd, but i have not found how to do that yet.
i am now trying an apple care call, but they have no other suggestion that the iphoto or quicktime slide show
options (including the downloadable apple scripts), which are not as nice: they do not blend and zoom in/out elegantly as the screen saver does. my first attempt is full screen and ... 249Mb!
it seems that scripting quicktime myself, or using final cut pro manually might do what i want; both seem feasible, none is obvious or immediate.
