a freshly updated blogroll.opml quickly shows on my local home page, and actually upstreams if i believe the 'events' account. but the cloud home page will update only much after that.

Hokusai's Great Wave has often been quoted as one of the first examples of fractals in art.

I have found an even more convincing example of Hokusai's intuition in the 100th prints of his One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji (in fact, 102 prints). This print (circa 1845) displays "a lovely pattern of seaweeds on the beach below" which can only remind one of the dragons made famous by Mandelbrot's Fractal Geometry of Nature.
