At the KITP, I'll have access tomorrow to an epson SP2200, and soon after that to an epson SP4000.

This will let me proof many raster projects or ideas from the last four years, and which had only existed in the form of saved bit streams, plus the works inspired by last Fall Pattern program.

I am delighted that my work will be included in "Art in the Digital Age".

During the Fall of 2004, Thames & Hudson, Ltd.

of London will publish "Art in the Digital Age" by Bruce Wands.

The book is an historical survey of digital art, and will be a large format coffee table book (9.25" x 10.5") consisting of approximately 200 pages and 300 illustrations. The book is unique in that it will feature the work of artists from a full spectrum of digital art disciplines: installation art, sculpture, 3D animation and video, performance and sound art, websites, software and database art and imagery.

Thames & Hudson is one of the most respected and innovative publishers of illustrated books in the world, and "Art in the Digital Age" will be marketed to a wide audience throughout the United States and abroad.

Bruce Wands is Director, New York Digital Salon, Chair, MFA Computer Art, Director of Computer Education, School of Visual Arts.
