California Weekly Hay Report - Southern California
Southern California: FOB Barn/Stack: 24,510 Tons Delivered: 7,850 Compared to last week, Supreme Alfalfa not tested in southern desert, in Antelope Valley steady in limited test. Premium Alfalfa steady to weak. Demand moderate, supply moderate to good. Fair and Good Alfalfa steady in light test, demand light, supplies light however as the weather continues to change more will be produced. Various forage mixed hay being produced in Antelope Valley this past week and should be in the bale next week. Retail and stable hay steady on new crop, old crop production being discounted.
