California Weekly Hay Report

Southern California: FOB Barn/Stack: 32,092 Tons Delivered: 3,025 Compared to last week, Premium and Supreme Alfalfa not tested. Weather too hot to produce much of this product. Fair and Good Alfalfa steady with an undertone of firmness. Demand light as standoff between buyers and producers has developed. Supplies moderate to heavy. Retail and stable hay fully steady. Demand light to moderate. Supplies moderate. Exporters concentrating mostly on Sudan, second cutting, not showing much interest for other kinds of hay. Few White flies have starting to show up.
