California Weekly Hay Report

Southern California: FOB Barn/Stack: 9,281 Tons Delivered: 1,775 Compared to last week, Supreme Alfalfa not tested, some current production starting to show up as Premium Alfalfa. Demand and inquiry good, supplies limited. Fair and Good Alfalfa steady. Demand light to moderate, supplies moderate to heavy. Retail and stable hay fully steady. Demand moderate, supplies light to moderate. Exporters buying some hay but not very aggressive. Rains moved through area this week and that added to the slowness of the market on new sales.
