California Weekly Hay Report
Southern California: FOB Barn/Stack: 9,800 Tons Delivered: 2,290
Compared to last week, Premium and Supreme Alfalfa steady with last
week closing prices. Demand good and supplies light to moderate.
Rain moved through area over the weekend and threaten early in the
week lessoning available supplies. Fair and Good Alfalfa steady with
last week?s advance. Demand light to moderate, seeing more dairies
from Chino area looking for last year?s Good quality hay. Supplies
moderate. Retail and stable hay steady. Demand moderate and supplies
moderate. Most exporters not interested in adding to current
inventories.
