California Weekly Hay Report
Southern California: FOB Barn/Stack: 8,200 Tons Delivered: 3,675
Compared to last week, Premium and Supreme Alfalfa not well tested,
some Premium hay from spring time has been traded. Fair and Good
Alfalfa steady in limited test. Demand remain light, supplies
moderate to heavy. Retail and stable hay steady. Demand light to
moderate, supplies moderate. Exporters fairly quiet this week as
quality of hay needed not available. Weather continues to hamper
producers ability to produce high quality hay, due to higher than
normal temperatures and humidity.
