SAN RAMON -- Two years and a dozen public hearings later, a proposed 1,400-unit housing development in Tassajara Valley likely will face a vote by two separate planning commissions at a public hearing Monday night.
(Jan. 26) [San Ramon Valley Times]  This project illustrates so many things that are wrong with the land use approval system.  Over two years of review?  Two Planning Commissions fighting over turf?  Danville opposing this project - but unwilling to accept apartments or condos in their town?  Millie Greenberg smiles and talks a good "regionalism" game but is never "there" when it means Danville or the San Ramon Valley.
