Solano business group drops its president. The East Bay Business Times reports that the Solano Economic Development Corporation, better known as SEDCORP, has not renewed Linda Brown's contract and has installed its Marketing Director, Sandy Person, as interim President.

$5 million well system to make water cheaper Heidi Ortmann reports that the Diablo Water District has found groundwater supplies to augment their purchases from the Contra Costa Water District. "The cost of the project will be spread over 30 years and will be paid for through developer fees, he (Mike Yeraka, General Manager) said." [CCT - Brentwood News]

Sports complex to be finished by summer Heidi Ortmann reports that a new sports complex at Freedom High school in Oakley is under construction and due to be completed in August. A majority of the cost is being paid for by a voter-approved, District General Obligation (GO) bond. "The total cost of the sports complex is $4.8 million.
