Come this summer, Assistant City Attorney Jerry Hobrecht gets a promotion.

Hobrecht, who has worked for the city of Vacaville for 11 years, has been appointed to take over for his boss, City Attorney Charles Lamoree, when Lamoree retires in June. He officially becomes city attorney July 1.
