I discovered that I can target an AppleEvent to a kernel process ID as well as the older methods of using an application signature or proces serial number. I now have my controller application using AppleEvents to communicate with the client instead of sending it a HUP signal. It's a lot cleaner and will port nicely to the Mac OS 9 version. 4:47:18 PM    Comments []
