I've always liked using outlines, but until today, I thought it was too much trouble to publish them. Then along comes Radio 8 . . .
- Create the folder www/Outlines in the Radio work area
- Create a #template.txt file in that directory (I already had one set up for work weblogs - I just removed the rightmost columns).
- Create a #upstream.xml file (ftp to a unique directory on the work web-server)
- Create an outline and save it to that folder as an OPML file. The first two lines are
#renderOutlineWith "cadillac"
#title "outline title"
- As if by magic, the outline is rendered as HTML and published to my work web-site.
So, what horribly complex steps did I miss? 7:49:51 PM
