A QA Guy's Radio Weblog
Thoughts from Dave Liebreich

daily link  Monday, January 28, 2002

I've always liked using outlines, but until today, I thought it was too much trouble to publish them. Then along comes Radio 8 . . .
  1. Create the folder www/Outlines in the Radio work area
  2. Create a #template.txt file in that directory (I already had one set up for work weblogs - I just removed the rightmost columns).
  3. Create a #upstream.xml file (ftp to a unique directory on the work web-server)
  4. Create an outline and save it to that folder as an OPML file. The first two lines are
    #renderOutlineWith "cadillac"
    #title "outline title"
  5. As if by magic, the outline is rendered as HTML and published to my work web-site.

So, what horribly complex steps did I miss?  7:49:51 PM  permalink
