Mnemonics

Thursday's New York Times Crossword Puzzle, 23 across, "Cross Letters.'" Answer is "INRI"

I know that the letters stand for the Latin equivalent of "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews"

I remember the letters because they can also stand for "I'm Nailed Right In."   12:52:16 PM  permalink

How would you test ...

There are two good answers to the interview question, "How would you test such-and-such?"

The first good answer describes the techincal details involved in testing, such as tools you would use, which boundary conditions are relevant, etc.

The second good answer is the question "For what reason am I testing this?" Testing a prototype is different than testing a beta candidate is different than testing a release candidate, is different than testing a COTS product is different than testing a regulated product.  12:07:12 PM  permalink

Weekend Treat

Sourdough Pancakes.  Yum!  We use our own starter (my wife splits it the night befor), and the recipe in the King Arthur Flour 200th Anniversary Cookbook.
