A quick review of "Influence - The Psychology of Persuasion" by Rober B. Cialdini, sent to a friend: I followed up on "the jigsaw classroom" and used it with my group, to great effect.

Time spent writing automated tests is time not spent finding new bugs. Use automated tests where they make sense - data-driven, modular tests. Use scripts to assist in manual testing as well.
