Here are two secrets to success - guard them well. 1 - If you are in tech support, especially in IT, learn to use all types of keyboards and all types of mice, in all types of configurations. Customers will think you are more competent if you don't reconfigure their workspace when you help them with a problem. This is especially true of people who have a left-handed mouse or a super-ergonomic folding keyboard thing.
