William Stratas' Weblog

Over at Blogaritaville today, I notice this link to a do-it-yourself gaming engine. Games is one area of the computer world I know absolutely nothing about. Never dabbled in it at all, although in the early 1980s (or was it the late '70s) I recall having Pong hooked up to the television set. Then I got Sargon for Mac in 1985, a chess game, and some sort of submarine game after that. Both worked great on the Classic Mac's 9-inch screen. So maybe I should pick up an interest in games again, 15+ years later -- but this time as a developer. Gee, perhaps there is a business application for game interfaces -- in training or corporate communications?   7:39:17 AM

By way of Adam Curry's weblog, I have run into a fascinating site with a somewhat radical (but exciting) proposition: Weblogs in education and schools! There are many ways to implement weblogs as teaching and collaboration tools in schools.  1:25:01 AM
