Mary posted an item (with her eyes closed I'll bet :) about Ice Skates for Christmas.
We just got Lindsey's new skates the other day. Her coach is preparing them for us, waterproofing, mounting the blades, etc. They need to be sharpened before she can do anything with them. Time for some fresh blister pads too. We got a pair of SP Teri - Super Teri CL's, with John Wilson Gold Seal blades. We got them at the local shop so we probably paid more than if we bought them online, but it's nice to have a shop to go to so I don't mind letting them have our business.
