Here are some more thoughts on music.  The Apple iTunes store now has this cool RSS feed generator that will let me see what new music is being added to the store.  I keep seeing all this new music that looks interesting.  Wouldn't it be so cool if I could actually listen to all that music?  I'm sure I wouldn't like all of it, probably wouldn't like most of it, but I would likely find tons of music that I would never have even thought to try.  The only problem is I can't afford to buy all that music, even at $9.99 a CD.  And I really don't want to buy it all I just want to try it to see what I might like.  Then I wouldn't mind having to buy the music I really liked.  But I would really like to be able to just request the music I would like to hear when I want to hear it and not need to store all that somewhere in my house/computer/car.   Why can't the radio and the Internet get together and let me just select the CD I want to hear and play it for me?

Picture this, instead of an iPod with gigabytes of memory, how about an iPod with Wi-Fi like (or faster) wireless capability that could get signal everywhere.  I could theoretically listen to anything that has ever been recorded anywhere.  Wouldn't that be cool?  Oh, and maybe put a nice screen on it too, maybe one of the new roll up flexi displays.  Then I could watch video or surf the 'net too.

I figure if I start asking for this now it will speed up the time it takes to really happen.  I should probably patent it too :)
