  Botanical Gardens (10 images)
I haven't made it to The Florida Botanical Gardens yet, but I did spend a couple of minutes around the yard this morning in Rodney's Botanical Gardens. The Poinsettias are finally blooming, and it's approaching the peak of Azalea season. It's amazing how such a homely looking little shrub can become so gloriously beautiful this time of year. I was playing with the super macro mode and looking to see what kinds of bokah I could get with the digital camera. I really would like to have the depth of field preview button on my old Manual Minolta. Even without it I was able to get a few good shots of the little heather flowers, butterfly plant, and some plain old clover and weeds. And like the honey bees, I was going nuts smelling the Orange blossoms. It's a toss up as to which has the best perfume between the Oranges and the night blooming Jasmine.
