Time for another concert. It was the CD release party for Tres Bien. When I first started going to these shows I was sometimes the only one there with a camera. Then the phone cams started showing up followed by digital point and shoots, and lately I've started to see more 35mm SLR's. I was playing with the manual controls on my little 2 megapixel camera. The level of noise at ISO 400 isn't much worse than what I would see back in the days of Tri-X Pan pushed a few stops. I haven't figured out how to deal with the reflections I get from all the smoke in the room. They turn into giant snowflake looking things in the flash shots.
