Trouble ahead for music industry. Better digital music is the only way UK record companies can save
themselves from long-term decline as CD sales fall, a report warns. [BBC News: sci/tech] I have seen this behavior enough times to recognize it. The people who behave this way even have a name, "Luddite". If they do not change, then someone else will come up and provide the service to new musicians. They have to realize that they can makes lots of money with the old way for a while and then go bankrupt, or change to the new model, make less money, but survive.
