Nuclear-Tipped Foolishness. Space Daily May 27 2002 12:42PM ET [Moreover - moreover...] Using nuclear missles to protect against a nuclear strike would not be a wise choice. There are rumors that the Bush administration is looking into this. These types of systems have been studied before and the conclusion has always been that nuclear missles that detonated in low earth orbit would be a disaster to satellites that share this space.
